Delicious Autumn!

 The lovely days of Autumn have transported us into the season of long shadows and glorious color.

A reminder that change is what life is made for.....hot, sultry Summer days have given way to the gentle, quieter days of cool Autumn breezes.

I like George Eliot's quote....

"Delicious Autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking successive Autumns"

The garden is still a little active.

Some cheery cosmos are still growing.

Even the weeds are pretty in Autumn....

I wish I could "save time in a bottle" as the old song says.....I would put these lovely days within and take them out to savor until they can return once more.

People say so often that the year 2020 cannot end soon enough.

I say enjoy the beauty given.

Time is precious.

God is on the Throne and He has given the gift of Autumn for us to find blessing and rest.
