A Peaceful Heart

A peaceful heart always needs less to be fulfilled....less attention, less material things, less going and doing.

But for the soul at war with itself or the Lord more than enough is never enough.

No attempt to fill the emptiness will succeed.

We move out of the world of empty and into the world of the satisfied by "being content with such as you have, knowing Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you"

We can remove our focus from an urgent demanding world and place our focus onto things that have lasting value. Things that encourage and nourish our soul.

Take time to see and enjoy the beauty that is around you.

Create and enter peaceful environments that bring rest to your soul and loveliness to your eyes.

Give your soul time each day to search for things that are true, lovely, of good report and lasting value.

Slow down.

Relax.

Give up excess.

Be gentle with yourself and others in a world that doesn't care.

Enjoy the life you're given.

Live gently.

Carefully consider who is allowed within your personal inner circle.

Its okay to maintain relationships that perhaps do not bring peace or joy to your life, but we must learn to gently and lovingly keep these relationships from influencing our personal lives and close family circle.

Be grateful and enjoy what blessings do belong to you. Take time with these blessings, don't rush or ignore them.

Be blessed... enjoy each moment of each passing day....it only comes once.
