Resting In Peace

Come unto Me all ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest......for I am gentle and humble of heart.

Are you weary and tired?

There is a gentle place to rest your weary heart.

No matter the problem, no matter the question, no matter the need, Jesus is the Answer. 

All our fountains are in Him.

He is our full Portion.

He is the Victor. He is All wise. He is sovereign in every situation.

His job is to do.

Our job is to rest. To look into Him.

This is our final resting place, our true position.

We are not to leave our assigned place seeking answers.

We are not to worry and cast about for explanations.

We are not to weary our hearts seeking an unknown solution while wringing our hands.

Waiting.

Trusting.

Abiding.

Our need is to steady our own heart and maintain hope within the situation He has ordained for us....His beloved children.

He promised never to leave us nor forsake us.

So, we take our stand. We live this day for Him and His glory.

We don't need more answers than this.

Simple. 

Doable.

Each day will unfold and be lived out and end. 

Ultimately we have no big control.

We remain where we are right here in the midst of our journey. 

All we can do is what this day requires. 

We can only give from the portion we have received. Then we are to rest. Leave all in the Hands that never slumber or sleep.

Soon the journey ends.

 We must release all and go to Him. 

He will care for what we love and leave behind. So...it's best we learn how truly small and insignificant we are. 

Today we live to simply love Him, share our bit with those we can and then return to rest in His arms.

All is well....and all shall be well...and all manner of things shall be well.
