Continuing....

Hot biscuits and a hot meal kept us warm on another icy day yesterday.

It's a pleasure caring for my sweet family. They appreciate a good home made meal and a cozy home before heading  into the work of the day.

My job as a homemaker has become increasingly important to my family's joy and rest as the world becomes more in line with 2nd Timothy chapter 3. Isn't the Lord faithful in His Word to teach us what to look for as we journey on through our earthly pilgrimage?

This chapter in the Word explains the season of life we now walk through. It directs us to continue in what we have learned as an answer of how to deal with all we observe going on.....
Continue......do what the Lord has taught us.

We have things given to us to accomplish while we are given life and breath.

My job includes praying and keeping my heart peaceful and at rest while I make life lovely in my ministry of homemaking.

Caring for my little cottage and my loved ones takes up the bulk of my day.

Its mine to do.

So.....I continue.

This is where I serve the Lord and minister to the people He's given to me.

It's just right for my abilities and the gifts God has bestowed on me.

Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light and I find that true.

He's given me a job that suits my abilities.

The world has always gone its way.

Every generation has to deal with the ups and downs of life in a world that wants to rebel against God.

It's just a fact of life.

I just go on through each day doing the job He assigned to me and I'm thankful to do it for Jesus and my dear ones.

Good meals.
Clean clothes.
Tidy bathrooms.
Clean sheets and towels.

It's what makes life good!

God created the family as the foundation of life on earth and I have the high honor of being a servant to this little family in this little cottage.

I'm honored.
