Look Up

The skies are magnificent today.

A recent rain washed the pollen away and now the yard sparkles with beauty.

As I was sitting in the yard looking up I remembered Luke 21:28 when Jesus said certain things will happen in this world and we are to "look up for your redemption draws near."

Do you find your heart looking up and pondering what season we are in and how the days might play out before He returns?

The "fig tree seems to be ripening" as this chapter reminds us.

No one knows the day or time, but we can discern the season we are in.

Are you excited?

His children have great joy to look forward to, and even as the world around us continues to shake and tremble, we remember our Savior told us "do not be frightened" and "make up your mind not to worry" in verses 9 and 14.

One day, dear ones, we will look up and see "the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory"

The kingdom of God is near.

We are warned to be always on the watch and pray.

I pray for each of you that you live your life carefully and prayerfully.

Stay on the narrow path.

We are to be vessels fit and ready for the Lord to use, so our lives must be cleansed daily of known sin and we need to be focused on the Word and the Savior.

Keep an eye out for the saints and others you may minister to and pray for.

We all need to encourage and love one another and be patient with one another as days and hearts grow weary.

A kind word of encouragement and an arm about a shoulder can brighten a heart and impart strength far beyond what we realize.

Make it a point to enjoy the beauty of each day.

We each have our share of trials and blessings. God balances them out.

The Lord doesn't burden us with trials too heavy for us to bear. 1 Corinthians 10:13

And He blesses each of His children with various good and perfect gifts from above....James 1:17

Don't allow the tyranny of the urgent, or the trials the Lord is permitting this world to experience,  to overtake the beauty and blessings Jesus brings to you each day.

This is our Father's world, and we are His beloved children. Nothing can take us out of His Hand.

Enjoy the world He has given to you.

You are precious to Him dear one.

He doeth all things well and He is Lord of all.
