Resurrection Sunday💐

Glory to God.....what a beautiful Resurrection Sunday we have enjoyed.

I gathered a lovely bouquet from the treasures hidden here and there in my yard and garden. I picked anything that had color, even some collard and  kale flowers that have gone to seed.

It made a nice touch to our dinner table.

We took a little ride out and had a meal. The world was just shouting "Hallelujah! Jesus has risen!" in it's display of color and beauty.....Thank You Lord. It was a joy to go out and take in the scenery.

It's a blessing to carry out calm and lovely rituals with precious family. What a comfort to simply enjoy time together enjoying the gifts God allows us to hold in our hands.

Sweet hubby sang a quiet hymn to me to begin our morning.....🎶One day at a time sweet Jesus that's all I'm asking of you, just give me the strength to do every day what I have to do🎶.....I will put the hymn at the end of my post so you can hear all the words and receive a blessing.

I am truly thankful for the sweet presence of Jesus in our home and hearts these days.

He brings blessed assurance and serenity while living in a world of rush and hurry.

He expresses His kindness and peace through His living presence extended through family and friends who are filled with His Life and Love.

I was feeling a bit ill this week. My husband drove me to the doctor. I thanked him for helping me. He replied, "I'll always be there for you. I will always be here to help you."

Tears..... overwhelming gratitude.

Please take time to appreciate the "goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" today as Psalm 27:13 says. The Psalmist says he would have fainted if he hadn't known the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

I understand that.

I'm sure you do too.

The Lord lives.

He is present in our lives today.

His love is evident in the beauty He has created, through a kind word of love and support, through a hand of a friend praying for us, through the meal we have on our table, through the warm bed and cozy quilts we snuggle under at night, through the smile of a stranger passing by our side.

God is walking among us.

I'm so thankful for His lovely touches in my life.

I'm thankful I'm not all alone in this world.

Jesus gave His life so we would know we are valued and loved.

He reaches His Hand today and says...."You are not alone. I'm always going to be here to help you. You can count on My love and support. Don't be afraid."

Thank you Jesus.

Thank you for loving me when I don't deserve love.

Thank you for choosing to give your life for my sin.

Thank you for loving me through other people who pray for me, take care of my needs, sing to me and nurture my life in countless ways.

Thank You.....just thank you so much.
