Secure In His Embrace

"Ask in faith without doubting."

James 1:6

"And all things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive."

"Hold fast to the confession of your hope,

without wavering, for He Who promised is faithful."

"This is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us"

1 John 5:14

The angel said..."Do not fear Daniel for from the first day that you set your heart and mind to understand, and to humble yourself before your God your words were heard and I have come in response to your words".

Daniel 10:12

As we gather before the Throne today (such a privilege!) we remember that God does  answer prayer....in His timing, according to His will and wisdom and in mighty power. 

He hears the call of the humble and contrite heart that has chosen to repent and seek His face.

Prayer from a pure heart is always answered. Our longing is that God answer according to His perfect will and perfect timing. 

We ask that our heart embrace and accept His chosen answer.

This is where peace lies.

There are people who believe that if God answers prayer differently than we had hoped the prayer is unanswered.

We  learn to receive 'No' as an answer, as well as 'Not at this time.' 

We are a country on our knees at this time in history. God is mightily at work. 

We, as His children, are praying in ways I have never seen in my lifetime. It warms my heart.

My prayer is 'Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.'

His will is always perfect, always on time.

I pray our hearts prepare for whatever God's answer is, for His plans will definitely be accomplished on earth. 

It's time to pray without doubting and then prepare to receive, by faith, His sovereign will with trust, faith and peace knowing that He will guide and provide for His children in whatever plans He has laid.

As the hymn below proclaims...

....all chance and change transcending, Supreme in time and space, You hold Your trusting children secure in Your embrace.
