Promises Kept

 Are you wavering?

Place your focus firmly upon Christ and His power until all doubts and fears of the matter you are facing are silenced.

Entrench your soul with the attribute of God's mighty power over you.

Count the attribute of God's power your own portion and reap the comfort it brings.

Live on God's promises as your portion.

From "The Christian In Complete Armour."

We live on God's promises. They are our sustenance...our anchor.

Here are two promises you can count on today from Jesus......

                I will never leave you.

                I will never forsake you.

Jesus won't leave.

Jesus will help.

Take a moment right now, if you will, and say those things to yourself. Let them settle deeply within.

Jesus won't leave me.  Jesus will help me.

These are promises kept. We know this from previous experience.

Our comfort is only as strong as our faith.

God is mighty in power.

He does not lack the strength to save you and help you.

He can also save those you love....those you long to see held safe in the arms of Jesus.

Today is the day to strengthen our faith.

Today is the day put on our armor of God.

The battle ground is heating up.

God is strategically placing His soldiers in position.

We each have a calling.

We each have a specific role to play.

God is seeking intercessors. People who are strong in faith and can ask without doubting.

Do you know what an intercessor is?

A person who calls God into other people's lives and into situations needing His help.

*The needs of the lost, and the adequacy of God, meet in the heart of the intercessor.*

Think about those powerful words. They bring me to my knees when I ponder them.

Intercessors bear others in their hearts and carry them into the Throne Room of God Almighty.

He is The One Who can work with mighty power on behalf of those we pray for.

One person can cause God to act in mercy rather than judgement.

One person can bring God and another together.

Prayer opens the door to change.

God looks for one to stand in the gap. Ezekiel  22

Many of us wonder what change we can make in a world overrun with need.

We can pray.

God answers the effective fervent prayer of a righteousness person. James 5:16

Your prayer chair in your hidden corner is a powerful tool against enemy attack. From this strategic position you can be a mighty soldier on God's battle field.

This small place is our battle station.

If we come to Him with a contrite heart and with faith in His ability our prayers are powerful.

God uses the humble of heart.

He uses those who don't doubt Him.

So come.

The Mercy Seat is open.

God is waiting for us to ask.

Sit at His feet until all your doubts and fears are quieted in His loving presence.

Then pour your heart out before Him because He cares for you. Psalm 62:8

My battle station....

Through our God we shall do valiantly..
Psalm 60:12
