First Daffodil Bouquet ♥️

 

The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful day.

It's going to be 76! What a treat here at the end of our Winter season......a little promise of Springtime.

I wandered through my yard and found some sunshiny daffies here and there..... enough for a handful bouquet.  The color is simply brilliant. No one but God could create such a sparkly yellow.

Hubby bought some fresh sausage from a local farmer. He was looking forward to homemade biscuits and sausage gravy so I made a batch.

He seemed to enjoy his brunch😊

With such a lovely day on hand I hope to start in on some Spring cleaning. It's too pretty to stay in all day though. I think I'll have a cup of tea or two on the back porch and read some Scripture in the sunshine.

I bought some bright new cushions last week for my old porch swing. They sure brightened things up. Now I just need some new plants to add a little more color and I'll be all set for the season.

You can see the furniture hubby built me last year from wood pallets he got for free from work. I might buy some matching cushions to spruce them up too. 

I love free things that add beauty to my little cottage......frugal should be my middle name.

Anyway....its a marvelous day to just enjoy what we have been blessed with. Things seem brand new when Spring arrives.
